Millville, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2018) – Denny Wolff, Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania's 9th Congressional District, released a statement today welcoming President Donald J. Trump to Northeast Pennsylvania. President Trump will speak on August 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

“I have continuously said my job is to represent the people of Pennsylvania’s 9thcongressional district and I will work to solve problems with leaders from both parties when I get to Washington. That includes the President, who has appropriately pulled back overreaching regulations for farmers and small businesses,” Wolff said. “I do hope President Trump takes this opportunity to note the impact recent tariffs are having on farmers and small businesses in Pennsylvania. My concern continues to be what the economic fallout will be for working families in Pennsylvania’s 9th

Dan Meuser, Republican candidate for Pennsylvania's 9th Congressional District, is advertising President Trump’s visit on his Dan Meuser for Congress Facebook page. “I fully anticipate Dan will be with the President in Wilkes-Barre on Thursday,” said Keith Pemrick, campaign manager for Denny Wolff. “Just like Dan, Wilkes-Barre isn’t in the 9thcongressional district. Since Dan goes to sleep every night outside the district anyway, why not spend another night continuing to ignore the people who actually live here?”
